
The objective is to contribute to the effective implementation of the CARIFORUM-EU Economic Partnership Agreement.
The expected results of this contract are as follows:
Output 1. A Cadre of key CARIFORUM Stakeholders is trained in Competition, Public Procurement, and Customs & Trade Facilitation.
Output 2. CARIFORUM nationals certified in Competition, Public Procurement, and Customs and Trade Facilitation at primary, intermediary and postgraduate level.
Output 3. At least four (4) persons from each CARIFORUM State sensitised on the EPA commitments of the Parties and the opportunities and benefits under the EPA in relation to each of the following – Competition, Public Procurement, and Customs & Trade Facilitation.

Graduate degree in the field of Competition Law or a related fieldLanguages
Excellent oral and written communication skills in any of the official languages of the CARIFORUM region (i.e. English, Spanish, Dutch and French), with working knowledge of at least one the others
Required Qualifications
Sound understanding of the economic frameworks of the CARIFORUM region evidenced by appropriate academic publications
Required Experience
General
At least 10 years experience providing advanced and intermediate level training/lecturing in the field of Competition Enforcement and Law in an institutional setting
Specific
At least 5 years experience working with national policy makers in the CARIFORUM region will be an asset
